Obituary of Tania Ann Hyacinthe
Tania Ann Hyacinthe-Brown was born on September 15th, 1974, in Queens N.Y. to Patricia Ann Jones and William DeCosta. Tania’s birth parents both passed away when Tania was in her youth. Tania was raised by her loving Aunt Vivian and Uncle David “Ronald” Cosby, whom she lovingly called mom and dad. Tania was a member of Christ Baptist church. She attended Sunday School, was Baptized and sang in the youth choir.Tania attended and graduated from Longwood High school and went on to attend college at West Virginia University. Tania married Jean Hyacinthe and had two son’s Devan and Brandon Hyacinthe. Upon dissolution of the marriage. Tania went on to pursue her passion, a career in the Home Care Field, where she compassionately cared for and assisted other people's loved one's back to health.On April 27th, 2019, she married Duane Brown, who she loved and cherished. Tania gained two stepchildren from this blessed union.Tania was a beacon of kindness, warmth and love; whose presence enriched the lives of everyone she encountered. Tania was more than just a wife, mother & sister; she was a con=dant, a friend, and a guiding light. Her generous spirit and infectious laughter could brighten the darkest of days. She had a remarkable ability to o>er comfort in times of need and to celebrate the joys of life with those she loved most. Her passion for taking care of others and her commitment to her children left a lasting mark on those who knew her. Whether it was through small acts of kindness or her unwavering support for her family and friends, Tania exempli=ed what it meant to live a life of love and compassion.Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in the beautiful memories and moments with her including her love, comfort, infectious laughter and joy that she left us with.Tania transitioned from earth to her heavenly home on September 29th, 2024. Tania is survived by her husband, Duane Brown, her son Devan Hyacinthe,( daughter in law Marcia Hyacinthe), son Brandon Hyacinthe, her grandchildren Amina, Deshawn, August-Marie and Dyamond, her two stepchildren, her brother Nicholas Jones, Her Mother and father David and Vivian Cosby, her sister’s Michelle Phifer, Tishamarie Cousin and Arielle Cosby, a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews; who will forever cherish the time they had with her. Rest in peace, dear Tania, you will always be in our hearts and your love will live on in every life you touched.
The Family would like to thank all who gave condolences, prayers, words and acts of comfort. We know Tania touched many lives and she will forever be loved and missed by many.
