There are some people who bring light into every room, whose laughter is infectious, and whose heart seems boundless. They are the life of the party, the one who could make you
laugh until your sides ached, and the friend who was always there with a kind word and open arms. That was our Bobby. Bob’s energy was magnetic, and he lived life to the fullest. He made the ordinary moments unforgettable, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Robert David Costabile, born on January 17, 1964, in Boston, Massachusetts, was the proud and loving father of Nicholas and Jake. The cherished son of Claire and Al (deceased), and a beloved brother to Stephen, Debbie, Al, Michael, and brother-in-law to Rob & Elaina. He was also a devoted friend to Cliff and so many others who were fortunate enough to call him family by choice.

On Monday, September 10, 2024, Bob’s vibrant light left this world, leaving a void in the hearts of his family and friends. His passing is deeply mourned by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

From a young age, Bob dreamed of "making it big" in Manhattan, and he did just that. He found joy and fulfillment working at Young & Rubicam, where he built a second family. It was in the bustling city that Bob’s creative spirit truly flourished. A passionate and talented artist, he poured his soul into his work, each piece reflecting the unique charm and warmth he brought to life. Bob’s artistry extended to the kitchen as well, where he delighted in preparing gourmet meals for his friends, always eager to share his culinary creations and a glass of Symmetry.

Beyond his artistic talents, Bob was a knowledgeable movie buff with a deep appreciation for storytelling, and he recently took on the challenge of learning Italian – or at least pretending he had. His wit, humor and sarcastic ways were always present, never failing to bring joy to those around him.

Bob, you gave us laughter, love, and countless memories that we will carry with us always. You leave behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, and the joy you shared so freely. May you find the peace, love, and strength that you so generously gave to others. We will hold you in our hearts forever.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held soon, and he will be laid to rest near his beloved parents. Details will be shared with family and friends as they are finalized.
